I started painting to discover my "self awakening" and continue with the stories of survival of those who have been touched by my work.
I have met so may AMAZING people and I receive so much gratitude and inspiration from those people whom my work has touched. I have healed and grown from my journey and still continue to do so. ..................................2012.......................................
Just like you, many things have happened in my life that have helped defined who I am. Life is like traveling through a crowded room, where we struggle to get to the other side. People bump into you, shove you out of the way, move out of the way, show you the exit, or simply effect you with a phrase. These people cause you to go in a certain direction, but what you do with those bumps, shoves, or words, determines if you live the life of a victim or a survivor.
We begin following and mimicking those who guide us through our first years. Not knowing there is anything different out there, we mold our way of thinking just like our first tour guides. We learn our survival "talents" from these people, but where we are on the food chain of life, depends what they were taught....so on and so forth.
Slowly our room gets more crowded. We see other ways to change our situation when someone shoves us into a different place then where we're headed, that comfort path we're nervous of straying from. You will stumble and fall, but when you decide to climb the survival ladder and change your position on life's food chain, you learn to either gather, avoid, or pounce on what is put in front of you.
Obviously I haven't left this crowded room, so we should all realize early that as we try to get to the other side, we are also effecting those who are on their own life's tour and we become those who shove, bump, walk beside, and share words with which help others on there journey to "Self Awakening".
